Amanda E. Rasheed is an associate attorney at The Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh, L.L.C., dedicating her practice to matrimonial and family law matters including divorce, child custody, parenting time, alimony equitable distribution, and domestic violence. In addition to this focus, Amanda has experience in both criminal and immigration law.

Prior to joining The Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh, L.L.C., and beginning her private practice career as a lawyer, Amanda served as the judicial law clerk to the Hon. Mark T. Janeczko, a Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division – Family Part, in Bergen County, where she helped the court decide and adjudicate numerous family law cases. Prior to this prestigious clerkship, Amanda served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Peter J. Melchionne, the Presiding Judge of the Family Part in Bergen County.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While in law school, she also received a Certificate in Comparative and International Law and was a member of the CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications, Law, and Policy. Also during law school, Amanda participated in a prosecutor’s clinic in Maryland, which entailed calling and preparing large dockets and conducting multiple criminal trials. She also volunteered at the Public Defender’s Office in New Orleans and multiple naturalization clinics in Virginia.

Prior to law school, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Seton Hall University majoring in History with a dual minor in Political Science and Spanish.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York, and she is authorized to appear before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Somerset County Bar Association, and Union County Bar Association.
