Divorce And Family Law

We devote a substantial portion of our litigation practice to matrimonial and family law. Our team can capably address all issues pertaining to divorce, including equitable distribution of property and debts, alimony, child custody and child support. This includes specific experience with complex and high net worth divorces, such as deferred compensation, prenuptial agreements, and valuation of businesses and professional practices. Our practice extends to all matters of family law, including paternity, domestic violence restraining orders, parent relocation, post-judgment modifications, enforcement actions and third-party custody or visitation.

Prior to private practice, Rajeh A. Saadeh served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Hany A. Mawla, who is now a judge of the appellate division and was the presiding judge of the family part in Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties. During his clerkship, Rajeh obtained considerable exposure as to how litigation is handled from the trial court’s perspective. This experience and knowledge enable Rajeh to serve his clients effectively throughout all stages of their matters.

Rajeh A. Saadeh regularly represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, providing due diligence to consummate the deal and legal intervention if disputes arise. He also has wide experience in real estate litigation, from breach of contract lawsuits to condemnation proceedings.

Related to his real estate practice, Rajeh has a successful record defending against foreclosure actions in New Jersey courts. He also helps struggling homeowners negotiate solutions such as short sales, loan modifications or forbearance if they cannot make the mortgage payments or owe more than the property is worth.

This breadth of experience enables him to provide comprehensive representation and advice to his clients when they need it most, from legal issues tangential to their family law or real estate cases to stand-alone matters that arise in their lives.

Rajeh A. Saadeh is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York and is authorized to litigate in U.S. District Court (federal court) for the District of New Jersey. Rajeh is additionally authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
