Rachel L. Baxter is of counsel at the Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh, L.L.C. Her practice focuses primarily on all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence, marital settlement agreements, and post-judgment litigation. Rachel is a seasoned attorney, having represented hundreds of family law litigants throughout New Jersey in trial and appellate courts. Rachel understands that every family law matter is different and requires the willingness to compassionately listen to her client's needs. When the time requires, Rachel will vigorously advocate her client's position, but she also understands when and how to promote cooperative settlement. In this regard, Rachel successfully can navigate her clients through the difficulty of family law litigation to achieve an optimal and fair resolution.

Prior to joining The Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh, L.L.C., Rachel worked with a well-respected law firm in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, in both the family law and public entity defense practice groups. She thereafter was of counsel to a boutique matrimonial law firm in Hackettstown, New Jersey, where she handled all areas of family law, inncluding litigation and settlement.

Prior to private practice, Rachel served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anthony F. Picheca, Jr., J.S.C., in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Somerset and Warren Counties. From drafting numerous court orders, she sharpened her legal research and writing abilities, which she uses to smartly advocate for her clients.

Rachel obtained her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA, where she was named a Beasley Scholar, a Conwell Scholar, and the Dean Carl E. Singley Scholar. During law school, Rachel interned with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office drafting briefs, arguing various motions, and participating in grand jury proceedings. Through the Temple Legal Aid Office, she also served as a mediator for indigent family law litigants referred by the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County. Rachel graduated cum laude from Howard University in Washington, DC, where she earned a B.B.A. in finance.
Rachel is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and volunteers as an Early Settlement Panelist in Warren County.
